Your Circle Forth Guide

  • “Will we turn towards one another or against one another?” These words from Joanna Macy have echoed through for decades and become ever more meaningful as we face the challenges of the world today.

I am deeply committed to fostering collaborative groups and communities that can work together across diverse views, lives, experiences.

It is always a true honor to be of service and I will bring to your circle of friends, neighbors, colleagues not only a vision of coming together to address topics that matter, but practical skills and tools developed over 25 years of facilitation experience. Reach out! I would love to explore how I might be of service.

  • Circle Forth is the umbrella organization for Community Response Circles, as well as Facilitation, Mentoring, and Trauma Support offerings.

Circle Forth was born in a circle of trusted friends and in many ways it is a culmination of Christi’s life’s work up to this point. It represents a way of bringing people together in times of change and transformation. It is also a way of practicing facilitation as a craft, rooted in an understanding of thriving living systems and human health and well-being. It is informed by nature’s ability to adapt through times of change and disruption. It is also a way of experiencing yourself and your community. It is practical, grounded, while inviting play and even joy through difficult times.

Circle forth, ultimately, is about coming together and then going forward into a future informed by and enriched by connection, belonging, equity, community, and the wisdom that comes when we work effectively together.

  • Christi is an extraordinary facilitator from whom compassion, sensitivity and wisdom/insight flow. She picks up on the smallest of cues in people's body language, facial expressions and tone to guide attendees into greater awareness, trust and presence in the moment. She draws from a wealth of experience and holds a space for participants that is safe, engaging, and full of self-discovery.

Robyn Cascade, Ouray County Bridging the Gap participant and co-founder

  • I have appreciated Christi's warmth and serious commitment to community and inclusivity, along with a sense for the bigger picture and an open mindedness for the different ways people may show up in the world.

    Kate Mason

  • I would trust Christi with any group anywhere! She is the most skilled facilitator I have known and brings with her humility, deep insight, and compassion.

    Ruth Wharton, Wild Mountain Retreats

  • Christi created safe, trusting space for juvenile diversion kiddos and staff to respect each other, to share, and to bond. Tough crowd, incredible facilitation.

    Leanne Soucek

  • Christi Strickland facilitated a nature retreat I participated in. I learned valuable things about myself and about being in a creative and supportive community whose genesis was Christi's ideas, modeling and--herself. I treasure the experience, as these experiences are the building blocks of a better world.
